NORTH POLE ’85

A Documentary Feature – Coming Late 2026

In the spring of 1985, two of the most iconic explorers of the 20th century, Neil Armstrong and Sir Edmund Hillary, quietly set off on a private expedition to the North Pole. What began as a little-known journey through the Arctic became one of the last great untold stories of modern exploration.

For nearly four decades, the story remained in the shadows, kept out of the public eye at Armstrong’s personal request. Now, with the blessing of their families and the discovery of rare archival footage, a new film lifts the veil on this extraordinary chapter of history.

Shot across the High Arctic and featuring intimate interviews with the next generation of the Armstrong and Hillary families, North Pole ’85 is a cinematic voyage into legacy, ambition, and the shifting frontiers of a rapidly changing planet.

Currently in production, the film is slated for release in late 2026.
